Caraco Laboratories will not be manufacturing Phentermine 37.5mg white/blue speckled tablets for at least the next 4 months. The FDA has shut down their facility due to Caraco’s failure to comply with cGMP (Good Manufacturing Practices). This will NOT result in a recall of Phentermine by Caraco, however, they will be unable to resume production until the FDA gives final approval.
Time-Cap Laboratories has announced that the FDA has instructed them to immediately cease all production of their Thyroid tablets. This will affect the Thyroid 1/2gr, 1gr, 2gr and 3gr tablets. Time-Cap has informed us that Thyroid is a “grandfathered” drug that did not require an NDA (new drug application) to be filed with the FDA by the manufacturer. The FDA is now eliminating the production of all drugs that had been “grandfathered”. Time-Cap believes this will eventually affect all manufacturers of Thyroid tablets. We are currently out of stock on all of the Thyroid strengths, but expect to receive a final shipment from Time-Cap by the first week of July. We will not be receiving any more of the 3grain Thyroid tablets from Time-Cap. We have been advised that the Thyroid price in going to increase significantly.
