RLC Labs Recall – Nature-Thyroid® and WP Thyroid®
RLC Labs® has initiated a voluntary recall at the request of the FDA of all lots of Nature-Thyroid® and WP Thyroid® that are within their current expiry date. This recall is being conducted because RLC Labs were recently notified by the FDA that samples from five lots of Nature-Thyroid® and one lot of WP Thyroid® were tested and found to contain less than the required 90% of the active ingredient (the tested products contained no less than 87% of the active ingredient). In addition to issuing the voluntary recall for the 6 lots identified by FDA as sub-potent listed below, per FDA recommendation, RLC Labs made the decision to pull all unexpired product to ensure that all products currently in distribution meets top quality and safety standards.
